The Most Rev’d Tunde Adeleye is the Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Calabar and the Arch Bishop elect of Niger Delta Province. He has held several positions in the church in and outside the country including being President, Christian Union (NIFES), Mid-Western Polytechnic (now Federal Polytechnic, Auchi; twice President Christian Union (NIFES) the University of Calabar; National (Students) Chairman, Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES); National coordinator, Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (on full time); Chairman Haggai Institute for Advanced Leadership Training (Alimni) Cross River State; (till date); Chairman, Christian Council of Nigeria, Cross River State and South-South, (till date); a Chaplain, All Saints Chapel, University of Benin; Chaplain, Chapel of Redemption, University of Calabar, Calabar; National Director, Sharing of Ministries Abroad (SOMA), (till date); Present Chairman, Divine Commonwealth Conference (DIVCCON); among many other positions.
He is an Evangelist with great zeal and commitment. He has been deeply involved in evangelism all over the world. His burning desire has remained advertising the Lord Jesus Christ for all to know and receive Him as their Lord and personal Saviour. To this end, he has dedicated his time totally for soul winning, evangelism, outreach, witnessing and crusades. His goal is to do the work which will enlarge the Kingdom of God. Even now, His Grace is still working assiduously hard in the villages and cities, just to save souls.
Most Rev’d Tunde Adeleye is happily married to Ezinne Dorothy Tunde-Adeleye. The family is blessed with five children and many grand children.
